Our region is rich in natural resources, we can find several herbs and forest fruits(wild strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mountain cherry, etc); mushrooms (porcini, lepiota, chanterelle, charcoal burner, spice-mushrooms, tricholoma, forrest and land Agaricus, and other spring, summer and autumnal mushrooms).

Farewell of Csíksomlyó
This event is organized every year at Pentecost by the Hungarian catholic community in a presence of hundreds of thousands participants who are coming to the Holy Mass in the mountain saddle between Great Somlyo and Little Somlyo.
The history of this event dates back to 1444, when Pope Eugene the IVth urged in mass message the people to help the Franciscans in building the church.
He granted a farewell for this work.
