Harghita-Băi is the ski-paradise for the local people, but foreign tourists also like to come here for skiing, snowboarding.

From our guesthouse the next ski runs are available: Ski run-Csipike (350 m), Biathlon lane (400 m); Ski-run Kossuth (1880 m); Ski-run Nicholas (829 m).

For those who arrived without equipment, we offer our ski-rental, which is located at 150 m from the guesthouse.

There is a snowtubing lane at 50 meters from our pension. You can race down the tubing lane with a special rubber tube –this kind of snow parks provide an exciting and enjoyable entertainment for young and old too all over snow centers in the world.Regarding to the popularity of these kind of lanes, summer lanes are developing too with some higher investments.The sliding is directed by the development of the lane.A specially designed lift hauls up the rubber tubes and their passengers.

Situated at one and a half acres, in a unique environment, the park has a wired rope course, which is built on 120 trees and it has 105 game elements with different degrees of difficulty. The park is awaiting the adventurous guests.There are seven different adventure courses marked with representative colors, so everybody can easily find the adequate one. The yellow and the orange sections are for the children and they are specially designed for their height, strength and condition.There are 4 other courses, which serve the entertainment of the adults with gradually raising difficulty levels. The first level is livable for everyone and after that the higher levels can be switched.The 985 m “Tirol”sliding lane is a special feature of the Park Balu , which is the largest is Central Europe. Starting from the Uz Bence rest-house we follow the local road until the forester house, where turning to right we approach the ski runs. We cross the Csipike lane’s upper side, then we go further to the Nicholas lane. We follow the edge of the ‘Orottas’ crater and we will see the saddle at nord, where we have to turn to left(vest). Following the ridge line starting from the saddle we arrive to the Kossuth cliff, which is the highest point of the walking tour. Otherwise, in the vicinity of this rocky enviroment starts the Kossuth lane. From here we descend to the caldera, where is a sheepcote; and following the high voltage wires on a clearly visible path we handle to southeast, sometimes trough muddy places we will cross the Piricske forest road. Here we can find a lot of weekend houses. Following the flow of the creek, crossing an alpine pasture with volcanic remains we can spot the 13A highway on the right. At this point we are situated at 4,5 km from Csikszereda, and the mark ends here. About 700 meters, on an asphalted road, we arrive to the Ciba street (dirt road), where is a local bus station.

Nordic Walking or ski walking, is a physical activity and a sport consisting of walking with special sticks similar to ski sticks ,improves the agility, strength and coordination skills. In the ‘30s, started from Finland, passing Vestern Europe, it was already popular among the cross-country skiers like a good form of keeping their condition is summer time too.

In Harghita-bath there is a Nordic walking lane.

Our gest house is located 200 meters from the sport field, which can be used for football in summer time and for ice skating in winter time.

We own a 7 kilometers long bicycle-court, which includes very various forests, glades, it passes an easy terrain near the Kossuth cliff, with an outlook to Miercurea Ciuc city.

In Hargitafurdo there are a lot of different events, there are organized annually ski contests, dog sled racings, motorcycle racings, marathons, bicycle tours. Anually it is also organized the tradicional Mineral Water Days.
